Abstract
Korea's economic growth over the past 30 years has largely accounted for the increase in real income, but productivity growth has led to the increase in real income since the mid-2000s. It shall lead economic growth in the changed economic growth structure. To this end, economically diverse arguments are being presented for the economic growth process of Korea, but the importance of individual regional development should be examined. Regional development investment is one of the policy measures to induce regional economic growth, a phenomenon in which the scale of economic activity in the region increases by providing support and fostering for economic activists in a certain area or space. Currently, the Republic of Korea is conducting a preliminary feasibility study to assess the feasibility of the project before implementing large-scale public projects under the National Finance Act. In this study, we would like to empirically analyze the extent to which economic and policy aspects, especially economic analysis, are reflected in the evaluation process of determining final feasibility in relation to preliminary feasibility studies.
