Abstract
The purpose of the article is to analyze the qualifying signs of crimes related to illegal felling of forest plantations, the subjects of which are groups of persons by prior agreement and organized groups of persons. The article focuses on the problems arising in determining the subjects of crimes related to illegal felling of forest plantations. The scientific novelty lies in the fact that to date, judicial practice does not have examples of criminal cases on charges against persons of committing crimes provided for by paragraph "a" of part 2 of Article 260 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation due to the fact that the felling process is technologically complex, and therefore joint actions of the subjects of crime are always preceded by the coordination of actions and the distribution of roles.
