The formation of the English-language picture of the world in the future teacher of foreign languages (based on the study of phraseology)

The article is devoted to the formation of an English-language picture of the world among future teachers of the English language through the widespread use of phraseological units in the educational process. The article considers professional competencies aimed at the formation of a full-fledged secondary linguistic personality of a student — the future teacher of English. The article analyzes the reflection of the linguistic picture of the world, the verbalization of concepts, lexical discrepancies between the native and foreign languages, the mission of the teacher-mentor of the student — the future teacher of the English language.
