Tuberculosis of the eye

The main indicators of the epidemiological situation in tuberculosis are presented, as well as information on the frequency of opening of patients with tuberculosis of the eyes. Based on the literature data, the most important methodological approaches to the detection, recognition and treatment of eye tuberculosis have been determined. The authors present the methods of diagnostics and treatment of patients with eye tuberculosis developed by the authors and recognized in many anti-tuberculosis institutions. A treatment regimen for patients with eye tuberculosis with relapses and pauses in treatment has been developed. The tasks of ophthalmologists and phthisiatricians of the general medical network in identifying and treating patients with eye tuberculosis have been determined.
