Abstract
The article is dedicated to the attempt to supply the stagnation observed in theoretical geomorphology, arising in connection with the fiasco of the teaching about geosinclinals predominant in geotectonics. To solve this problem the new geomorphological concept ? the geodriftogenal concept of relief evolution is suggested on the basis of the plate tectonics theory.
