Abstract
This paper reviewed perceptions of people about beliefs with regards to born-againism and how Christian faith reflects in academic performance. The interferences Christian faiths have in school settings could make or mar academic pursuit in Nigerian institutions. Hence, possible relations between born-againism and academic pursuit as suggested by past studies were reviewed. In conclusion, this paper suggested that born-again is an important characteristics of a Christian if well applied by students as it guides their consciousness, conduct, beliefs towards realization of institutional core values.
