METHODOLOGY OF CALCULATION OF THE REQUIRED PERSONNEL STRENGTH TO PERFORM TASKS OF PROTECTION OF THE IMPORTANT STATE FACILITIES IN THE SPECIAL PERIOD

Military units for the protection of important state facilities and nuclear installations in the special period can come to the defense of mentioned facilities. According to well-known governing documents, while defending important state facilities, reconnaissance can be organized in the sphere of responsibility of a military unit, by allocating patrols, and also the service at platoon strongpoint and checkpoint can be organized. During the performance of certain tasks, assistance from a military unit for the protection of an important state facility may be received from other military units of the National Guard of Ukraine. The personnel strength of the attached forces will depend on the total number of personnel that is needed to carry out the defense measures for an important state facility. The purpose of the article is to develop the methodology of calculation of the required personnel strength to perform tasks of protection of the important state facilities in the special period. The developed methodology of calculation of the required personnel strength to perform tasks of protection the important state facilities in the special period takes into account the basic conditions for the performance of combat missions by this part in a special period and time required to meet the physiological needs of servicemen in the performance of tasks. This allows you to use the model to substantiate the quantitative estimates of the personnel strength needed to solve the tasks by the military unit of the National Guard of Ukraine for the protection of an important state facility in the special period. This methodology can help officers of the Directorate for the protection of an important state facility of the National Guard of Ukraine make informed decisions to determine the necessary personnel strength assigned from other military units of the National Guard of Ukraine, which can be allocated to help military units to protect important state facility in a special period.
