Abstract
The aim of this study is to identify the perspectives of teachers of grades one and two with regard to teaching phonics online during the COVID-19 pandemic in Al Batinah North Governorate. The paper provides a detailed description of the advantages and difficulties of teaching phonics online and the steps that teachers included and omitted when teaching phonics online. It concludes with a few suggestions and recommendations for teaching phonics online.
