Abstract
Kalidasa was a notable figure in the Classical Indian History and scholarly being in the time of fifteenth AD century. He was the best gem among the nine gems of Gupta Empire. He has formed the play for the Gupta court that sets up new norms of the general public. Goethe observed Shakuntala put on his head and hit the dance floor with a flood of bliss and delight. Shakuntala is obviously a wistful sentimental play. Aside from that, there are several other gigantic subjects like chivalry, nature, the possibility of an ideal ruler. It is furthermore sure that dharma and karma plays essentially. Another striking subject is that of expansion of strict way of thinking, thus, it is difficult to escape from the rule of Hinduism. The current exploration paper attempts to zero in on the recovery of Hinduism and how it was executed in the unprecedented play like Shakuntala. How the way of thinking of Hinduism proliferated by means of the Sanskrit dramatization and how it turned into the way of thinking of all India for a wearisome time. These are the issues under the examination that try to astoundingly investigate in the current paper.
