Abstract
Coronavirus pandemic is currently a global public health emergency. No effective prophylactic or post-exposure therapy is currently available for COVID-19, although some have been tried. One of such drug is combination of Hydroxychloroquine and Azithromycin. Recent publication shows that Hydroxychloroquine sulphate treatment is significantly associated with viral load reduction/disappearance in COVID-19 patients and its effect is reinforced by Azithromycin. However, there is limited information about the use of them in COVID-19.
