Abstract
The present paper is a comparative study of two polyethylene fittings used for coupling pressurized natural gas pipes, namely two tapping tees, one welded with an under clamp and the other one without. The aim of the paper is to observe the state of stress and strain in the two cases, highlighting the differences between them.
