Relationship between Corporate Sustainability, Employee Commitment, Local Community Participation, and Performance of Tourist Businesses: The Case in Vietnam South Central Coast

Abstract
The purpose of the research is to determine the relationship between corporate sustainability, employee commitment, local community participation, and performance of tourism businesses in Vietnam South Central Coast and suggest practical implications to improve the business performance through corporate sustainability. Qualitative as well as quantitative research was carried out. In the quantitative research, a formal quesionaire-based survey was conduct with 459 respondents being owners/ directors/ managers of tourism businesses. Data are processed by SmartPLS software. The results confirm that corporate sustainability has a direct and indirect impact on the two mediating variables, the employee commitment to the organization and the participation of the local community and to performance of tourism businesses in Vietnam South Central Coast.
