Abstract
The Objective of our study was to assess the prevalence and predictors of sarcopenia among patients with knee osteoarthritis (KOA). This cross sectional study included 150 female patients with KOA Sociodemographic and clinical characteristics of the patients were recorded. Sarcopenia was assessed by a dual energy x-ray absorptiometry scan for the body composition analysis, Fat mass, lean mass, and bone mineral density Sarcopenia was present in 14 (9.3 %) patients with KOA.
