Feminist Writing with Special Reference to Anita Nair's Novel Ladies Coupe

The story is told in first person by Akhila, the protagonist, who is at first presented as a sympathetic figure: sacrificed her life�s dream to maintain a medium of normalcy for her sister and two brothers after her father was struck by a passing commuter bus. Anita Nair, the author, highlights the positive role and positive transformation of women in the ongoing battle of establishing female selfhood.
