Abstract
This paper examines the effect of analysts' recommendations on stock return and liquidity shock. The study covers a sample of large, medium and small-cap stocks traded on the Indian stock market in January 2019. The empirical evidence suggests a reversed outcome of analysts' recommendations on the stock market return over long term.
