Abstract
At the end of the second century and at the start of the third century, teachers Khuong Tang Hoi and Mau Bac brought Buddhism to Vietnam. Other lineages, such as Vinitaruci and Wu Yen Tong, emerged until the sixth, seventh, and eighth decades. The presence of these lines rendered Buddhism more dominant. Vietnam became autonomous in the fifth and eleventh centuries (after the Dinh, Le, Ly, and Tran empires). Buddhism was a huge input to the creation of Vietnam and to christian teaching.
