Abstract
In this paper we have studied the modeling of photovoltaic solar panels, the buck-boost converter and multi-level asymmetric H-bridge inverter. We have proposed a buck-boost converter control strategy and a multilevel inverter control strategy based on Nearest Level Modulation. The results of the simulation performed with the PSCAD-EMTDC software show that the proposed models and control strategies can be used in a photovoltaic system. This article can be considered as an update of the models used and a complement in the control of multilevel asymmetric H-bridge inverters.
