The first part of the research is an introduction about what CLIL is and its main practice and evolution. The second section comprises the CLIL situation in different parts of Europe. After that, the paper focuses on the CLIL development in Spain, comparing its implementation in the monolingual communities and the bilingual communities. The last part of the paper is and interview with a relevant researcher in order to know her experiences and opinions about CLIL.
