Abstract
This article is written based on Japanese Junior High School History Textbook adopt by government, and Indonesian Junior High School History Textbook adopt by Ministry of Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia. Objective of this study is making comparison concerning content and substance of Junior High School of two countries, concerning nationalism tendentious embedded in both textbook. History textbooks become big issues related to political and diplomatic constrains between Korea, China and Japan concerning substance of Japanese occupation in both countries. But there are no responses or discussion in Indonesia concerning the same texts book even Korea, China and Indonesia have been colonialized by Japan. This paper would compare studies of two textbooks of Junior High School history of Japan and Indonesia focused on Japan Occupation in Indonesia (1941-1945)
