Abstract
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is the technique of chest compressions combined with rescue breathing. The purpose of the CPR is to temporarily preserve a circulation sufficient to maintain brain function until expert support reaches. Effective CPR is performed directly after cardiac arrest can increase a survival level to double or triple.
