Abstract
The present paper deals with the analysis of the occupational stress of the working women using t and F statistics. We test the significance of the difference between the means and variances of the stress of working women with respect to certain demographic factors of the three districts of Karnataka state using t and F statistics. To test the equality of means and variances of the stress, the variables considered are age, monthly income, monthly savings and travel time and the demographic factors area, education family type and residence type of the respondents. The research finding reveals that the test of equality of means and variances of age, monthly income, monthly savings and travel time of the respondents shows in most of the cases there is significant difference with respect to demographic factors.
