Abstract
In 1781 a change in the history of Philosophy was documented in Kant& #039, s book The Critique of Pure Reason. Before Kant objects gave us knowledge but after him the knowing mind constituted objects of knowledge. Thus knowledge became subjective. In astronomy also such a change was found where before Copernicus the sun was believed to be moving but after him the earth was found to move, keeping the sun static in the center. Thus Kant& #039, s revolution in epistemology was analogically termed by British philosophers as the Copernican Revolution, showing that there can be pen stricken revolutions also unlike pain stricken violent revolutions of recent times.
