Abstract
Natural fibers are fibers obtained from plants, animals and geological processes. These are of low cost and light in weight because of which, they are used in various engineering applications. Hybridization is a process of incorporating synthetic fiber with natural fiber to get the better material properties. Filler materials are those materials which on addition improve the properties of composite. An investigation is carried out to find the effect of filler materials on mechanical properties of hybrid composites by changing the content of filler. Experiments are carried out as per ASTM standards to find the mechanical properties. The effect of fiber length and % of filler on tensile strength, flexural strength, Impact strength and hardness of composites is studied.
