Abstract
In the world of Globalization, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) play a critical factor is the system of production. Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) is a developed system around the world and is considered to be the backbone of the Indian economy. Government policies can affect the levels of entrepreneurial activities in many areas - regulatory, trade, labour market, regional development, social, and gender policies. It is an integrated approach to the development, and the implementation of the policy has been adopted to make the governments more horizontal structures. The performance of MSMEs in India and the relationship between the government policies, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) role in economic growth and employment generation in the Indian context is discussed in this paper.
