Abstract
In the article the process of origin and development of the conceptual going are investigated near a category "capital". The retrospective analysis of looks of scientists is conducted on essence of category "capital"; the results of the conducted analysis are generalized; the most acceptable interpretation of essence of category is certain "capital" in the cut of productive relations.
