Abstract
The communication provides many methods to distribute information to the people, especially after the growth of multiple applications. Consequently, the security of information has become a fundamental issue. There are two techniques for protect the data: Steganography and cryptography, the combination of these two methods will enhance the security of the data embedded. This paper is about encryption and decryption of fingerprint image using transposition pixel by spiral method that designed to increase security and to improve performance. The process begins when encrypted the fingerprint image by using transposition method and then embed inside an image using LSB method. A comparative analysis is made to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method by computing MSE and PSNR by using MATLAB.
