Abstract
Software Defined Network interoperate with other technologies like flow visor and open flow. This enables slicing of the network in many ways, including MAC, IP and VLAN. It also enables seamless interconnections with multiple controllers, providing the ability to run multiple applications each on a different controller. The purpose of this interoperability analysis is to test the applications of open flow in multi vendor environment. A Flow Visor has many applications; one of them being ideal for test environments to virtualized the network. The analysis shows different interoperable features in open flow based software defined networks.
