Abstract
This study aims to assess psychological symptoms among patients suffering from rheumatological conditions, also to determine the relationship between socio-demographic factors, social support, perceived pain and quality of life.32 patients attending Rheumatology clinic were assessed on Dallas Pain Questionnaire, Ferrans and Powers Quality of Life Index and Depression Anxiety Stress Scale. Pain and dysfunction caused by rheumatological conditions were seen to be important determinants of quality of life, associated with psychological disturbances, occurring across ages, family types and genders related to severity of illness and support system.
