Abstract
The people living in rural areas in India are majority depended upon agriculture& small scale business. The rural agriculture production& consumption plays a predominant role in developing the countrys economy. The study of Socio-Economic-Cultural development of rural areas is a quite significant one. Culture is a result of Human Adaptation to his ecosystem. In this paper, the context of progress of a village, Kakwa is discussed with its rich culture& heritage. It is a village in Amethi (tehsil& district) in gram panchayat Kakwa, Uttar Pradesh. Based on the first-hand data obtained in field investigation, the change in livelihood of people in Kakwa had been pen downed in this paper.
