The Factors Impact on Conversion of Financial Statements From Vietnams Accounting Standard (VAS) into International Financing Reporting Standard (IFRS) - Experimental Research for Vietnam Listed Join-Stock Companies

Abstract
This research investigates, analyzes and measures relevant factors impact on conversion of financial statements from Vietnams accounting standards (VAS) into International financial report standards (IFRS) of Vietnam listed join-stock companies (JSCs). The result of this research showed that conversion of financial statements from VAS into IFRS of listed JSCs on the Vietnam stock market is impact by five factors, including economic integration, legal system, cultural environment, support by companys manager and education of accountant. Economic integration factor has greatest impact and after that, education of accountant factor has second highest level of impact. The three factors legal system, cultural environment and support by companys manager are all quite small impact. From the results of the research, author have suggested to collaboration between Vienam Government and listed JSCs in an effort to convert and adopt IFRS financial statements for Vietnam listed JSCs
