Abstract
AIM the main aim was to find how well aware final year and postgraduate dental students were on bleeding disorders and their prevention. OBJECTIVEThe main objective was to see how well aware final year and postgraduate dental students were on bleeding disorders among their patients and its causative factors and importance during the coarse of treatment. this was done with the help of a questionnaire based study and evaluate it to a get a better idea on the awareness. BACKGROUND Oral care providers must be aware of the impact of bleeding disorders on the management of dental patients. Initial recognition of a bleeding disorder, which may indicate the presence of a systemic pathologic process, may occur in dental practice. further on in order we see that this is only best accomplished by practitioners who are knowledgeable about the pathology, complications and treatment options associated with these conditions. So this helps the dentists to carry on with prophylactic, restorative and surgical dental care of patients with bleeding disorders. REASON the reason why this topic was taken was to see common bleeding disorders and their effects on the delivery of oral health care.
