Abstract
The aim of this work is to resolve the problem of finding the optimal therapeutic protocols in cancer immunotherapy including the best dosage and timing of immunotherapy drug. We formulate this problem as an optimization problem by applying the theory of optimal impulsive control using a mathematical model of five ordinary differential equations that describe the kinetics of several populations (tumor cells and three types of immune cells) as well as the intervention of immunotherapy with interleukin2.
