Abstract
Filtering is a technique used for modifying or enhancing an image. This paper surveys the impact on various image filtering techniques such as bilateral filters, Gabor filter and Guided filter for image sharpening and denoising. For comparison various performance metrics are used such as complexity, SNR (Signal to Noise Ratio), accuracy are compared. The results shows that guided filters are best filter than that of other filters.
