A several number of patients seeking dentists with trigeminal neuralgia will have intracranial tumors as the primary cause. Before the right diagnosis is made, these patients may undergo unnecessary dental involvements. This is because there are difficulties of diagnosis as the symptoms sometimes lead to misdiagnosis. A search of the literature was done to find case reports of this incidence. Cases is to be analysed for common characteristics or presenting features that may assist dentists in recognizing patients with intracranial tumors.
