Abstract
Recent developments in technology cause technologhy sector to significantly gain ground within the world-wide economy. Over the past years, the importance of firms in this sector has increased and most of them have been quoted to the stock exchanges. The purpose of this study is to examine comparative analysis of the Return On Rquity (ROE) values for the firms quoted in ISE and NASDAQ. Within this purpose, factors that affect the ROE values of these firms are determined, and their R2 are tested using Du-Pont analysis. Data collected from the financial statements and models are examined by regression analysis using panel data techniques. The results indicate common factors that have great effects (ROA, Return on Asset) and poor effects (Equity Turn Over Ratio) on ROE, however, ROE values differ for the firms in ISE and for the ones in NASDAQ.
