Abstract
Polydactyly is one of the commonest deformities in the hands and feet. It is caused by sporadic etiology, but hereditary causes especially in the Africa American racial group. It is predominantly an autosomal penetrance. The two cases presented here are from a family of four children all with a similar condition, with a unique and overwhelming family history that spans five generations.
