Abstract
This paper examines the factors that explain variations in new information systems acceptance. Results of this study identify three variables contributing to acceptance perceived usefulness, attitude, and expertise. We found expertise has effect on employer's anxiety. Finally, anxiety and perceived usefulness have effect to attitude. Implications for local government are offered on user acceptance of new information systems of local financial reporting.
