Abstract
This study was carried out to evaluate the influence of some concentrations of botanical insecticide (supernemic) on mycelial growth and sporulation of two isolates of Metarhizium anisopliae (a local isolate, the other was imported). Results showed that the dried weight of the vegetative growth was not affected significantly by the insecticidal concentrations that tested (0.3, 0.6 and 1 ml/L), dried weight of the vegetative growth and mean of spores number of the local and imported isolates of M. anisopliae were 0.069 g/20ml, 7.5106 spore/ml and 0.0439/20ml, 3106 spore/ml respectively when treated with 1ml/L of supernemic. Supernemic was significantly compatible and safe to conidial sporulation which make it promising in integrated pest management.
