Abstract
Medicinally important plants Centella asiatica and Boerhavia diffusa were tested against the pulse beetle. Certain insecticidal compounds in the plants extracts were found to be effective in reducing the egg laying capacity of the beetle. Thus the plants are proved to be effective in controlling the pest.
