Abstract
Brain Hemorrhage is a type of stroke which is caused due to bursting of the artery in the brain and thus causing bleeding in the surrounding tissues. In this system, CT images of brains are used to identify the type of hemorrhages. The images are first preprocessed, performed morphological operations and then segmented using watershed algorithm. This extracted image is given as input to artificial neural network for classification. It also gives information on the hemorrhage area and the hemorrhage percentage.
