Abstract
Self- determination is seen, according to Art.1. of the Charter of the United Nations, as a freedom of determination, without external interference, of political status and aspirations to economic, social and cultural development. The history of this privilege dates back to the seventeenth century, although its intensive development took place in the second half of the 20th century.
