Abstract
This study includes 45 aphakic eyes of 45 patients who underwent scleral fixation of Intraocular lens. These patients were assessed for visual outcome and complications after implantation of scleral- fixated intraocular lens (SFIOL) using the Ab-externo technique. A detailed ocular examination was done for all patients and all patients were operated by a single surgeon. The technique of Ab-externo SFIOL implantation showed good visual outcome in the absence of serious complications.
