Abstract
When you store your photos online instead of on your home computer, or use web-mail or a social networking site, you are using a cloud computing service. Cloud computing is emerging as a new paradigm of large-scale distributed computing. It is a framework for enabling convenient, on-demand network access to a shared pool of computing resources. This study discusses the concept of load balancing technique in cloud computing, the existing load balancing techniques and also discusses the different qualitative metrics or parameters like performance, scalability, associated overhead etc.
