Abstract
Nanostructures Nobel method have unusual physicochemical properties and biological activities compared to their bulk parent materials. Thus in recent years a number of physical, chemical and biological techniques were applied for the development of metal nanoparticles (NPs). This study aimed at developing superior quality TiO2 based nanomaterials for photovoltaic applications, with the major contributions of this study being the following. Synthesis of Mg, Ag and Bi doped TiO2 nanomaterials using an acid modified sol-gel technique. In this paper we investigate the optical absorption, functional group, surface morphology and elementary composition of pure TiO2 and doped TiO2 nanoparticles by using UV-Visible spectroscopy, FT-IR, Photoluminescence (PL) -Studies, FE-SEM and EDS analysis.
