Abstract
This paper proposes a MATLAB Simulink simulator for Electric Vehicles (EV) system. The alternate propulsion technologies have been increasingly pursued by the automobile industries and this has led to the increased development rate of the of the Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) technology. The proposed a DC-DC converter, convert low DC voltage (12V) to high DC voltage (36V) supplied to the electric system of pollution free electric vehicles, for this purpose, full-bridge DC-DC converter technology, is used to achieve the high efficiency, high performance, small size and lightweight through design of high frequency switching, transformer and RCD snubber. DC-DC Converters used in battery electric vehicles (BEVs), hybrid electric vehicles (BEVs), and fuel cell vehicles (FCVs) The systems are modelled& amp; simulated in MATLAB 7.7.0 (R2009a6. lnk) version.
