Abstract
In this work, we are primarily interested in digital transmissions as these are mainly used in communication standards. In this paper we propose to study the performance of a multi-carrier data transmission in the presence of Gaussian white noise and to introduce issues related to the transmission of information from the point of view of the informations representation and adaptation to the constraints of the communication channel and present the impact of disturbances that may affect the transmission of a signal between a transmitter and a receiver to determine under what conditions a channel will ensure the transmission correctly, since it is not limited only to the physical medium of information transfer. It also includes features that allow to adapt the signal to be transmitted to the channel and to minimize errors reception.
