Abstract
This study was designed to evaluate the effectiveness of kangaroo mother care in the management of low birth weight babies over conventional method care. The aim of this study is to determine the effectiveness of Kangaroo mother care in LBW babies with birth weight less than 2500gm in temperature regulation and also in promotion of growth, exclusive breast feeding, bonding and confidence of mother in caring LBW babies.
