Abstract
Effective buyer -supplier relationships are founded on three critical elements, information sharing, trust and partnership initiatives. The study revealed the supplier relations of Kenya Power and GDC in relation to the three elements and their effect on supply chain performance. Descriptive research design was used which accurately described the association between variables minimising bias while maximising the reliability of the data. Using descriptive and inferential statistics the collected data was analysed with the aid of statistical package for social sciences (SPSS Version 21).
