Abstract
This paper presents a multimodal security system for recognition and authentication purpose, this paper goes with stegnographic technique also in order to involve the data hiding approach to conceal secret personal informatics for enhancing the privacy protection. The two biometric traits used are iris and palm, the texture analysis of iris based on WPT (Wavelet Packet Transform)& Weber Local Descriptor based texture analysis of palm. Weber Local Descriptor represents the changes of illumination in an image. The feature of eyes& palm are fused and compared with the database image. As the module is completed successfully then person information which contains person authentication number with four digits key will be matched with extracted data from already hidden image for second level security. Hence the multimodal security system will give the better performance accuracy for this automatic identification and authentication application.
