Abstract
The physicochemical parameters viz. density (), viscosity (), and ultrasonic velocity (u) have been measured for aqueous glycine with triethylene glycol monobutyl ether (TEGMBE) system at 0.1 to 1 mole fractions and at 303.15K. The concentration increases of TEGMBE the density, viscosity and ultrasonic velocity decreases as interactions becomes weak, it indicate decrease in solute-solvent and solvent- solvent interactions which results structure-breaking of the solvent. Thus it is clear from the above parameters that there is a weak association between present systems showing hydrophobic nature.
